The passion for business has always been a part
of owner Kimberley's life.
As a young child, and together with her best
friend, Kimberley would buy gifts from the shops and sell them in a roadside
market at the front of her home to family and neighbours.
As a teenager, a love for sewing and
clothing design blossomed with Kimberley designing and making a number of
outfits throughout her high school years. Together with a love for the
environment, two of Kimberley’s favourite designs were her plastic bag dress
and her Year 12 Design and Technology Hemp dress Project.
With Kimberley’s passion for business and love
for fashion, she would often dream of opening her own fashion store throughout
high school.
Her passion and drive to run her own business
became a reality in 2012 when Kimberley opened an online children’s clothing
store.
With her business running successfully,
Kimberley’s love of clothing design reignited and on the 29th of March 2012,
the idea of Little Georgie was born and the journey began. Little
Georgie childrens bucket hats and kids baby hats were becoming reality.
After 2 years of planning and preparing,
Kimberley’s dreams were dashed when her Little Georgie trademark application
was rejected.
After years of dreaming and hard work, Kimberley
was not going to give up.
On the 26th of March 2015, Kimberley
beat all obstacles and had her trademark application approved.
This day was the beginning of the next journey
for Little Georgie.
With the Little Georgie trademark approved,
Kimberley commenced work with her manufacturers to make the perfect childrens
bucket hats and baby hats which we hope you and your little ones love
just as much as we do.
